My second draft is basically an improvement from my audience feedback and an improvement on trying to make my product look overall similar.
Below is audience feedback for my second draft, I asked my target audience questions to see what they like and dislike and what they would improve about my digi pak.
I believe this is crucial as throughout creating my digipak I can always refer back to what they would like to see on my digi pak and perhaps what they don't think is needed or needs to be improved.
I tried to do this by:
- adding more of the 3D effect to; the left inside, the right inside and the back cover.
-I also added a black background onto my front cover to help the colour of Shot Gun Shacks stand out.
- for the back cover I added a still from my music video, and added the conventions of a back cover;
legalities
barcode
record label
song list
-for the left inside I took a photo of my two actors, so that the target audience will see the similarities within the products.
-for the right inside I blurred the image
Within creating my digi pak, I wanted some more audience feedback. I put my 2nd draft on Facebook to get some feedback from a potential target audience. I asked on Facebook as it allows my product to be analysed by people perhaps with a knowledge on digi pak's and people without a knowledge. So, I can get a full and widespread view on my digi pak.
After improving my first draft I asked an target audience member who is very knowledgeable on creating Digi pak's and music adverts and music videos:
I then printed my digipak out to see what it would look like as a physical copy. This is key as I can see if it works well together as a product and if everything is visible and readable on the digi pak.
