DAYS OF FILMING
Thursday 1st December + Friday 2nd December
Weather forecast for both days:
Thursday: Cloudy, 80% chance of rain after 6:00pm.
To overcome this problem of rain being in my video, I will attempt to get my filming done before 6:00pm.
Friday: Cloudy, but dry.
This will allow me to get more filming done outside, and if the rain was a problem on the 1st, then I can re-film in the same location, just without the rain.
TIME:
I will be filming straight after college, so, around half 4
LOCATION
I have already gathered footage from Hull Fair, for the first part of the narrative. For my second narrative I will be filming an argument in a house, which then ends in one of the characters storming out into the street.
ACTORS:
There will be a male and a female involved within this narrative, who will be arguing.
The female actor is 17 years old and the male actor is 18 years old.
Thursday 1st: shots inside the house and of the actors arguing.
These shots will be for my second narrative, of the argument sequence.
These shots are vital as they bring a story to my music video and not just shots of Hull Fair.
Some conventional shots I will be taking for this day:
medium close ups X5
Tracking shot X3
close up X4
High angle X3
Low Angle X2
Friday 2nd: shots outside the house
I haven chosen this day to shoot outside as this day has better forecast weather.
These shots are there to portray how angry the male actor gets and storms out of the house.
Some conventional shots I will be taking for this day:
Tracking shots X4
long shots X2
Pan X2
Medium close ups X4
For the 1st there will be tripods involved when filming some of the medium close up and close ups. However, for shots from a distance and shots outside, it will be a hand held mobile camera.
Difficulties I may come across:
-the weather
-actors not turning up
-equipment fully booked up
Overcoming the difficulties:
Weather: look at the predicted forecast for the days I have planned, and if one day is dryer than the other film outside on the dryer day and inside on the rainier day.
Actors not turning up: give them a weeks notice to fully understand and not plan to do anything else during the time of filming.
If they do not turn up but tell me a few days before, I can try and rearrange another actor for the day.
If they do not urn up at all, I would do the shots I could with a single actor and then have to reschedule another day to film with them both.
Equipment fully booked: I would need to book the equipment needed in advance to make sure I could definitely get the equipment required for my video.
if the equipment I had booked out had not been returned then I would have to either book out the identical piece of equipment or similar for that day, or have to wait for that equipment to come back in and re-shoot another day.
